A New Product Is Coming (Doctor Academy)!

Hi! I’m about to release our long-awaited new product called Doctor Academy. I’ve been working on this for quite some time and it will be our company’s biggest release in over 3 years.
Doctor Academy will be an online interactive training course entirely focused on teaching doctors and their staff how to more effectively market and grow their practice. It will expose the best practices, tips, tricks and secrets used by the most successful practices in the U.S to acquire new patients and retain the ones they have.

Hello, i am a current client, found the video helpful, but some of the features listed are not the same on my business Facebook page. Why? I went to make the changes and the same screens you presented did not exist? Just trying to figure it out.

Excellent! So appropriate. I am just in the process of gearing up my practice using Facebook. I just didn’t know how to do it. I really appreciate the info and look foward to putting it into practice. I do have a question. With the Chat button, doesn’t someone have to be live 24/7 to answer questions? How do busy practices handle that? Do they just wait until someone has time to “chat”? Is it better to not use the Chat if someone isn’t available all the time?
Hi Kellie! You can set away messages during off hours, and even set a schedule for operational hours. (1) Log in and navigate to your business page (2) Click on Settings in the top right (3) Choose Messaging from the left-side menu (4) Scroll down to the bottom section called During a Messenger Conversation. The first option under there is ‘Set Up Automated Responses.’ Select the button to ‘Set Up,’ and then you’ll see a page to set away messages and set a schedule. Let me know if this works for you!
How do you link post for one page to automatically post on your other FB pages.

Great video and very informative. I really like how you did the screen shot to show us exactly where to go to do what was being explained. I would love to hear more about Instagram as well and how to get a business page set-up. What is the difference between Instagram and FB and what are the different strategies when posting between these two platforms. I am really excited to learn more about the academy! Thanks
Hi Erica! Glad the video helped you :] While both social media sites have similar functionality, Instagram is the more visual of the two. Use Instagram to brand yourself and communicate to your community with photos and videos (think of it like a digital photo album). Instagram’s demographic also tends to skew on the younger side. Facebook can still incorporate photos and videos, but you can also posts links, articles, etc. Facebook also houses a stronger set of business tools for advertising and supplementing your website with its ability to show location, hours, reviews, and more. Without getting into all the details here, having a presence on both platforms can be beneficial simply because it allows you to be in front of more potential patients. The larger the (relevant) audience you reach, the better. We’ve got all the deep-dive training coming your way very shortly!
I would like to create an ad from a post that had already been posted on our page. Is it possible to add the “lead ads form” to a post that is already up? The only option I see is to link our web address to the post. I think the leads ads form would be a great way to obtain new clients, so I’d really like to figure out how to generate that form in the post.
Hi Rose – absolutely. When you go to your Facebook page, select ‘Create’ at the top and go to ‘Ad.’ You’ll then be taken to the Ads Manager where you select your objective (‘Lead generation’ in this case). However, at the top of that same page you’ll see 2 tabs: ‘Create New Campaign’ and ‘Use Existing Campaign.’ Click on that 2nd option (‘Use Existing Campaign’). It’ll then give you a drop-down menu that says ‘Choose a campaign’ in greyed-out text. Click in that text field, and it will give you a list of prior posts to choose from. Just watched the video on reviews. What do you suggest doing if you can not figure out who the review is from (a negative one). Almost all the negative reviews we have are from “people” without real names or just first names.

Hi Heather – in the case where you’re unable to identify the reviewer and therefore cannot contact them directly, we recommend having your staff make a focused effort on just getting more positive reviews from your patients. This will bury the 1 negative review and get your average rating back up. This should be common practice every time a negative review comes in that is based on a 1-time occurrence (i.e. far from the typical patient experience). There’s no need to let 1 slip-up damage your reputation if it doesn’t represent the normal experience. Of course, if the negative comment does have some validity, then use it as an opportunity to do some quick staff training so the slip-up doesn’t become a recurring issue.
